Our agency was established as Ralph C. Hewitt & Associates in Florence, South Carolina in 1939 and relocated to Winter Park, Florida in 1959. Our insurance operations were incorporated in 1974 as Affiliated Underwriters, Inc.
We are a proud company with over 65 years of serving you with success. We attribute our accomplishments to our staff's dedication to service and many years of experience; qualities that we feel every sales person needs and deserves. We have been a member of our local Chamber of Commerce for over 40 years and our staff members support the following associations: The Society of Financial Service Professionals, NAHU, NALU, GAMA, NALU, and PIA.
Affiliated Underwriters serves as a liaison linking agents, agencies and insurance carriers. We provide products, services, and agency management expertise. Our knowledge of each carrier’s services facilitate a selection of companies who can meet our agents and their clients specific needs.
